Heading to RSC on Friday! Taking several leaders to help set up for the Rogue Umpqua Regional Skills Conference. Should be a great trip. the rest of the Mustangs will jump on a bus at 5:45 am for the one day up and back trip. Woooo Whoooo!

The Rogue Umpqua Regional Skills Conference is this Saturday, February 6. We are excited to go to Sutherlin and work with their chapter to host this great event. Lots of competition, workshops and a bit of speaking practice. We will be having a special Business Presentation competition to help these teams prepare for State, so let us know if you will have a team competing in this event so that we can plan accordingly.

Additional Information:

Time Matters

FIRST—Registration is from 8 to 9:20 a.m.

Second—Opening Session is from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

Third—Cottage Grove, Hidden Valley, and Sutherlin will be involved in early bird testing @ 8 a.m.

Fourth—Lunch from 1 to 2 p.m.

Fifth—Chapter Activity from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m.

Sixth—Closing Session from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Testing and Speaking

Three rounds of testing—-Round 1 (10:10 to 11:10), Round 2 (11:15 to 12:12:15), and Round 3 (12:20 to 1:20)

Speaking—Two rounds only—-Round 1 (10:10 to 11:20) and Round 2 (10:30 until done)

Team Testing—Early Bird or 1st Round (one test per group)

Random Items

Business Presentation Practice Event will be start at 1 p.m.  (please register your group now….not a real regional event)

All Chapter Officer Meeting at 1:45 p.m. (send all officers)

We need all Advisers to help with grading night on Feb. 5th, and dinner will be provided.

Three outstanding workshops will be provided for all students not taking a test or involved in a speaking competition. Please do not allow your students to sit in the lunchroom.

Entries

Entries will be sent in the next email.

Each student should be signed up for two events.  The email will not have homesite tests in the entries.

You should have all homesite tests by now.  Homesite tests are due by email Feb. 2nd or bring to the grading night on Feb. 5th at 5 p.m.
